How big are the marquee letters and numbers?
Every unit is 4 feet (48 inches) tall — chest-height to shoulder-height, substantial enough to be the focal point of a room or event, visible in every photo.
What letters and numbers are available?
Full English alphabet A–Z and full numeric set 0–9. Any word or combination up to 8 characters (spaces included) fits in our Statement package.
Can I switch between warm and cool white?
Yes. Every letter has a built-in toggle between warm white (≈2700K, golden) and cool white (≈6000K, crisp). You can switch mid-event — same letters, different mood.
How are the letters powered?
Two options per letter: 3 AA batteries (runtime 8–10 hours, batteries supplied and replaced each rental) or USB (unlimited runtime, cable supplied).
Are the letters weatherproof?
Splash-resistant but not waterproof. Safe for covered outdoor setups, light mist, patios, balconies. For direct rain or standing water we recommend a tent or covered area.
Booking & Delivery
How far in advance should I book?
Weekend weddings and peak-season events (April–June, October–December): 4–6 weeks. Weekday events: 3–5 days in many cases. Proposals and urgent bookings: call us — we prioritize these.
Do you deliver across all of LA County?
Yes. We deliver across all of LA County — Beverly Hills, Hollywood, Santa Monica, Downtown LA, Pasadena, San Fernando Valley. Delivery fee is $125 base + $2 per mile over 10 miles from our Sherman Oaks base. Malibu, Long Beach, OC — custom quote.
When do you deliver on event day?
Typically 2–3 hours before your event start. We coordinate with your venue, planner, or you directly. Setup takes 15–30 minutes.
Can you set up before guests arrive so it's a surprise?
Yes — this is our default for proposals and surprise parties. We arrive before everyone, set up, and leave.
How does pickup work?
Typically next morning, or at the venue load-out time. You don't handle breakdown — we do.
Do you bring extra batteries or a backup?
Yes. We supply batteries for the rental and always bring backup in case an event runs long or a unit needs a swap mid-event.
Pricing
How much does it cost per letter?
$80 per 4ft letter or number for a 3-day rental. Packages of 4, 6, and 8 letters run $320, $480, $640 — all including delivery and setup.
Are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees. Setup, batteries, and next-day pickup are always included. Delivery is a visible line item calculated by distance ($125 + $2/mile over 10 from Sherman Oaks). The only other charges are: extended-day surcharge ($20/letter/extra day), or permit fees for public-land events that require them.
What forms of payment do you accept?
Credit card, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay. 50% deposit to secure the date, balance due 72 hours before delivery.
What's your cancellation policy?
14+ days out: full refund. 7–13 days: 50% refund or free reschedule within 6 months. Less than 7 days: no refund but free reschedule within 6 months subject to availability.
Setup & Usage
Where do the letters fit best at my event?
Most common: ceremony arch backdrop, sweetheart table, reception entrance, cake table, photo-booth area, dance floor corner. For proposals: walk-up moment, beach horizon line, rooftop edge.
Can I set them up indoors and outdoors?
Both. The units fit through standard 3ft doorways for indoor venues. Battery power means outdoor setups (backyards, beaches, rooftops) work without cord management.
How close can guests stand to the letters?
Any distance. The LEDs are cool to the touch; the units are sturdy on flat surfaces. We recommend keeping kids from climbing on them.
What if I want custom words or multi-line setups?
Words up to 8 characters fit standard packages. For longer words, multi-line setups ("CLASS OF / 2026"), or custom arrangements, contact us for a quote.
Can you pair letters with balloons or florals?
Yes — many of our bookings pair with balloon arches, floral walls, or backdrops. Our sister brand Alina Balloon handles balloon-plus-marquee combinations; ask when booking.
