Terms of Service

Agreement

By booking Marquee LA ("Marquee LA", "we", "us") rental services, you ("Customer", "you") agree to these terms.

Rental

  • Standard rental is 3 days (typical: Friday delivery, Monday pickup).
  • Rental price includes delivery, setup, and pickup within LA County.
  • Additional days: $20 per letter per extra day.

Payment

  • 50% deposit secures the date.
  • Balance due 72 hours before delivery.
  • Accepted methods: credit card, Zelle, Venmo, Apple Pay.

Cancellation

  • 14+ days before event: full refund of deposit.
  • 7–13 days before: 50% refund OR free reschedule within 6 months.
  • Less than 7 days: no refund; free reschedule within 6 months subject to availability.

Delivery

  • Customer must provide a valid delivery address in LA County.
  • Customer or designee must be present at delivery or have pre-arranged venue access.
  • Delivery windows are 2–3 hours before event start time unless otherwise coordinated.

Damage and loss

  • Customer is responsible for letters during the rental period.
  • Replacement cost for a damaged or lost letter: $200 per unit.
  • Normal wear is expected and not charged.
  • Weather damage (rain on non-sheltered letters) is chargeable.

Usage restrictions

  • Letters are for indoor or sheltered outdoor use. Direct rain or submersion voids the rental.
  • Letters must remain at the delivered location unless otherwise arranged.
  • Do not climb on, sit on, or move letters without consulting us.

Liability

Our liability is limited to the rental fee paid. We carry general liability insurance for event operations. Customer assumes responsibility for guest safety and venue compliance.

Force majeure

We are not liable for delays or cancellations caused by events outside our reasonable control (severe weather, power outages, government orders). In such cases, we will reschedule without penalty or refund the deposit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by California law. Disputes resolved in Los Angeles County courts.
