There's a reason every milestone birthday on Instagram has the age in 4-foot glowing numbers: seeing the number itself is the whole story. 30 at a dinner party. 50 at a backyard celebration. 2026 at a graduation. 25 years at an anniversary.

Our 4ft numbers 0–9 are the same 48" height as our marquee letters, with the same warm/cool white toggle and battery + USB power. The difference is what they're for: the number IS the message. Put it at the entrance of the venue, flank the cake, frame the photo wall.

Numbers 0–9 — every combination you need

• Milestone birthdays — 16, 18, 21, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100. Two-digit ages are our most-booked number configuration in LA.
• Sweet 16 & Quinceañera — 16 or 15 at the center of the room, or paired with her name in our letters.
• Anniversaries — 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 years. See our anniversary rentals page for configuration examples.
• Graduation years — 2025, 2026, full class year. Graduation rental details.
• Mixed — combine a name and a number, or add a year to MR & MRS. Any letter + number configuration works.

Same light modes, same power options

Every number has the same built-in warm white / cool white toggle as our letters:

• Warm white — classic, golden, pairs with anniversaries and 50-year milestones.
• Cool white — crisp, modern, better for 21st birthdays, quinceañeras, graduation.

$80 per number, 3-day rental. Setup and pickup included; delivery calculated by distance. Common configurations:

• Single digit (5, 7, 9) — $80
• Milestone birthday (30, 40, 50, 60) — $160
• Quinceañera or Sweet 16 (15, 16) — $160
• Anniversary + name — 2 numbers + 4 letters = $480
• Graduation year (2026) — $320
• CLASS OF 2026 (letters + numbers) — $800 (8 characters + space)

Milestone number psychology — why 30, 40, 50 matter most

Milestone numbers that get booked most — 30, 40, 50, 60 — aren't random. They're decade transitions, and each has its own celebration style.

• 30 (most-booked): The first "adult milestone" birthday. Usually backyard or restaurant. Warm white, black-tie casual, floral wall. Photos get posted immediately.
• 40: Family-and-close-friends dinner. Private dining room or estate. Pair the number with a first name for the most personal shot. Warm white suits the mood.
• 50: The "gold birthday." Balloon columns in gold, warm white marquee 50, candlelit tablescape. The couple or birthday person stands in front of the numbers for the classic shot that gets framed.
• 60 / 70 / 80: Family-gathering birthdays. Children and grandchildren. Warm white is mandatory — it reads as timeless. Photographed for family legacy.
• 16 (Sweet 16): Cool white almost always. Paired with neon signs, LED backdrops, modern decor.
• 21: Cool white. Usually nightclub, lounge, or rooftop setting. Quick photos, high energy.

Anniversary numbers — the symbolic year gifts

Wedding anniversaries in Western tradition have a gift associated with each year. Our marquee numbers pair with that tradition:

• 1st (paper): Small celebration. 1 number at $80. Warm white, intimate dinner.
• 5th (wood): Growing family phase. 1 number, $80. Backyard or home-cooked dinner.
• 10th (tin/aluminum): First "real" milestone. 2 numbers $160. Restaurant private dining room.
• 25th silver: Our second-most-booked anniversary. 2 numbers $160. Silver palette, champagne, country-club setting.
• 30th (pearl), 40th (ruby): Family milestones. 2 numbers each.
• 50th golden: Our #1 anniversary booking. Warm white is mandatory. Family-hosted at a private home or banquet hall with 40+ guests.
• 60th (diamond), 70th+: Rare but extraordinary. Intergenerational — four generations in one photo.

Graduation year numbers — May/June peak

Graduation season in LA clusters tightly — high school late May through mid-June, college mid-May. The backyard graduation party has its own aesthetic: lawn setup, cap-and-gown photos, family gathering. The class year in 4-foot numbers anchors every shot.

Class of 2026 is our current peak. Configurations most requested:

• 2026 (4 numbers — $320) — the clean, classic setup.
• CLASS OF 2026 (10 characters — $800) — full statement, often used when renting a hall.
• GRAD 2026 (8 characters with space — $640) — hybrid personal-plus-year.
• Name + 2026 — 4-character name + 4-digit year = 8 characters, $640.

Care & inspection — what happens between events

Every letter returns to our Sherman Oaks facility between rentals:

1. Pickup morning-after event. Letters loaded, transported back.
2. Inspection — frame check, LED test in both modes, battery compartment check.
3. Clean — fingerprint wipe on the frame, LED cover clean.
4. Battery replacement — every rental ships with fresh alkaline AA batteries (3 per letter).
5. Re-inventory — number returns to rotation.

This is why rented numbers always look new to the next customer. DIY and used-market purchases don't have this cycle.
